Hey Mark,  Hm? any stuff in there applicable to the 70's to 76's.

Oz

I would say that much of the water, electrical, LP systems and testing and troubleshooting sections would apply as they are very in-depth.  Some of the components may differ somewhat, but the vast majority of info covered can be used over a wide range of years, other makes and models of RVs, and specific configurations.

This is something many non-Winnebago owners can benefit from, as well as from many of the other eManuals and free resources we have available:  If it's on a Dodge, Chevy or Ford chassis, the information is useful, regardless of make or model.  The same is true for appliances like:  Roof air conditioners, water heaters, furnaces, refrigerators, etc.

So, no matter what you own, the resources we have can be used to benefit you!

It would by chance cover an 1988 Elandan? I am having a hard time finding any information on the coach

DaveVA78Chieftain

bfrost,
What type of information are you looking for?  There is a collection of manuals you have to acquire.

Coach brochure is here:
http://www.winnebagoind.com/products/previous-models/1988/pdfs/winnebago/88-Elandan-bro.pdf

Coach parts book will depend on what model you have.  Will need to know both style (26ET, 28EU, etc.) and chassis type (GMC P30, John Deere, Oshkosh).

Chassis manual depends on chassis type.

Appliances are covered by seperate manual for each appliance.

Owners manual can be ordered from Winnebago once you know what model you have.

Dave,

It is a 1988 Elandan on a Chevy P30 chassis I think at least from what I can find. What I need is a wiring diagram of the coach which is a WCP37RQ also any other diagrams for the coach. I have the owners manual and a manual for the engine which is a 454. But my problem now is in the converter section I think, and I need to check out other items.

Barry,
Parts book for your rig is at http://www.winnebagoind.com/service/wincd/1988/88w-icp37rq.pdf
The 84-88 Common Parts book is at http://www.winnebagoind.com/service/wincd/1988/1984-1988common.pdf

Reference information for the Chevy chassis manuals is at http://www.classicwinnebagos.com/forum/index.php?topic=4974.0

As far as the plumbing and wiring diagrams, you will have to contact Winnebago to see if they still have copies of them.
The earliest they list online is for 1990.  Not sure how close they would be to your rig.  The 1990 ones are located at:
Electrical: http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/1990/90_p37rq_wiring.htm
Plumbing: http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/1990/P37RQ.pdf

If your having a 12VDC converter problem, list the symptoms of your issue under the coach Forum.   Include the mfg and model of converter you have.

Winnebago just sent me copies of the plumbing and electrical diagrams for my Itasca Windcruiser (same as Elandan) ICP37RQ a couple weeks ago. I asked if they had the option list from when it was ordered, but they said that their records don't go back that far.

I would be very surprised to see any manufacturer have the specific options list available on an RV built almost 25 years ago but, you can see what all features were available and match it against what you find on your rig... From the Members Area - Resource List - Winnebago Previous Model Years:
