First trip in Rooster

Took our first camping trip in Rooster last weekend. All the hardwork and stressing out finally paid off. Had an awesome time and Rooster was perfect. It was a short trip, only about a 45 minute drive, since it was our first time taking Rooster out. Couple more practice runs and I'd feel comfortable venturing out further.

I first met Alice in Chains back in the late 80's during a Fleet Week event in Seattle.  Somewhere in all my stored stuff, I have one of their first demo tapes..  Maybe someday I will find it and we can drink a beer or two while listening to it!

The story behind the 'Rooster' song is pretty moving, imho..

Always been an Alice in chain fans. Got to meet Layne once. Seemed like a cool guy. Sean Kinney has always been one of my favorite drummers. Glad they got back together.
