Fuel hose routing?

Can anyone tell me what to do with the second pick-up tube on the front gas tank? The rear one goes to the generator, but where does the front go. There is no charcoal canister, and it seems when the fuel gets hot its creating a siphon and DUMPING out of the tube. Should it just be plugged? 77 Winnebago Brave.
