How much different is the tranny in my motor home then a regular 727/ Thinking about just rebuilding it! :)

well after talking to my tranny guy who i do a lot of work for. He told me that the 727 is the easyest and cheapest tranny to rebuild. Made me feel much better. call around and get several prices on a complete rebuild.

I rebuilt the 727 in my 26 ft Trophy MH 10 years ago and it was one of the easiest ones so far. Check to see if you have a Transtar transmission parts store nearby. I recently converted my Ford 4R100 from 2wd to 4wd amd I bought the kit from the Transtar dealer in Atlanta Ga,

Your transmission is the same as a 1968 Torqueflyte  and they are fairly easy to repair !Frank
