Installed a new spark plug in the generator today, it fired right up ran about a minute, then died. I did notice fuel leaking at the top around a gasket, could be the manifold?

IF you can get me the model and spec I can tell you whats up there involving fuel.

But lets assume a few things based on the year of your RV and if no one had ever change your gen set it should be a BFA, and if so yes there is a carb mounted on top of a manifold. if you are finding fuel I would first check the fuel line for cracks and hardness (Hard lines that are rubber make for poor sealing) Chances are this is where your leak is. Of course this is if you have a BFA spec A thru G.

Could be the carburator float bowl o-ring/gasket.
