Just go to the Will Call window, and tickets will be waiting for you.  We are way near the back by the petting zoo and the Merriment Stage.  Just look for the field of Marshmallows!

All the little catapults got built today, but at the eleventh hour, the Harbor Crap sander caught fire!  So there will be no Trebuchets or handheld ballistae on the table this weekend.  They are almost built, but can't finish them without a sander, and it was too late to go out and get a new one!

Kevin, you just work to fast.  It couldn't keep up with you :)

ClydesdaleKevin

LOL!  I've had good luck with their sanders in the past, but this one bit the sawdust in just a week of heavy usage.  Cheap chinese crap!  Unfortunately no American companies make a portable benchtop belt sander any more.  I'll bring it back on Monday and get another one, and also pick up a Ryobi or Porter Cable one while I'm at it for the heavy sanding.

Booth is all set up, loaded with marshmallows and catapults, and it should be an amazing weekend!

Briefly met Don and Mary, but we were so busy I couldn't talk much.  Was hoping they'd come back towards the end of the day when things died down, but it was not to be.  Sorry I couldn't talk more with you guys!

SUPER busy, lots of catapults were sold, and fun was had by all!

Another busy day tomorrow anticipated, then a VERY busy week coming up.  Gotta build enough stock for next weekend, AND 2 student days following that weekend...AND prep out enough so that our abbreviated work week that week doesn't put us behind for the following weekend!  Logistics logistics logistics!

We will win this battle...lol!

Another super busy day...SWEET!

Tomorrow I have to go get a planer, return the sander and get another one, get a better sander for heavy stuff, another drill press, more tables, another chair, a band saw or scroll saw...either works for what we do...a plastic shelving unit and lots of small cheap plastic shoebox bins, and of course wood to make the catapults with!  Then get back and set it all up.

The rest of whats left of the day is off.

Then Tuesday plane, tablesaw, and chop out all the parts we need...and then get to take the rest of that day off.

The rest of the week is building catapults with the boys and getting it all done!

I might have time to work on the K5 Monday and Tuesday.  I'd at least like to put in new door striker posts and replace the passenger side broken mirror glass if time allows, but we'll see!

And we have to make time for the pups while all this is going on...lol!

Great to meet Kevin and Patti!! Thanks Kev for the tix too.

We were going to swing back by your shop but the old bones were talking to us and we headed on home. Had a great time, the faires have grown up since the 70's, much bigger and more organized.

Our camp was awesome and we will be going back for an event at the Superstition Museum in April.

2 long days getting stuff for the workshop, setting it all up, and then cutting out tons of parts.

Sad news for our friend Will that works for us though...his grandma died and he has to fly home for the funeral.  We'll miss him this week, and not just because he's a skilled worker.  He's an awesome and funny fellow, and we enjoy his companionship.

He's going to ask his girlfriend to fill in for him in the workshop this week, but if she can't make it Patti already found a couple people willing to work.

Gonna be busy, and we sure are going to miss Will!
