Don't need dash air conditioner in Alaska...

There appears to be a coolant leak somewhere in there and the ac compressor is about to fall off.  It doesn't work anyway and it's Alaska we don't need one anyway....

uum, ok.
Was this a question? or just a statement that you don't need your A/C?

As for coolant.. the A/C has nothing to do with the coolant, so removing it won't cure anything. BUT, there is coolant going thru a heater core located under the dash in the same box as the A/C evaporator. I would think you might want a working heater in Alaska... just my guess.
I reserve the right to reject your reality and substitute my own...
