It appears my automatic choke on my generator is not working. If I turn it clockwise the engine starts and then as it warms up I have to slowly turn it counter clockwise. The unit gets quite hot so I assume the electric heater in it is working. Is the first step to take the face off and see if the bi-metal spring is broken? Are they available anywhere? It is in a '78 Winnebago and the unit is very hard to completely remove.
Thanks for any info.
