Take a look at the left row of side blocks on the Main forum.  AT the bottom, there's a new block, "Today's Gas Prices".  This little widget shows the average gas price for regular and premium in every State!  The info scrolls through the States and you can just enter the two character State abbreviation for any State and it will appear!

On the way home from Muskogee we filled up at Harrisonville, MO.  It was $3.11 at the Quik Trip station.  It's sad to think that is really cheap!

There's a link in that block which takes you to the main website.  It has a lot of politically charged info about the wrongness of today's gas prices in the US and, the really sad part is, it's all so true.

Hmmm....  I guess that one isn't imbedded.  They usually are.  The site covers a lot of issues.  Here's one link relating to "energy".  You can browse the rest of the site for topics of interest from there.

  • 1 U.S. Gallon = 3.785 Liters. So at a $1.23 a liter =$4.73 a U.S. gallon. And you guys think your getting screwed. $@!#@!

It was running about $2.95 a gallon in the Columbus area today.  If you do an inflation calculation compared to common goods with prices dating back to the 40s, its about 2 dollars too high.
