Well,

After much thought and research (several calls to Comp, Crane, Edelbrock) I have decided to go with Comp Cams # 21-220-4

Rpm range is 600-4,800.
Duration is 250 intake, 260 exhaust
Lift is .432 intake, .444 exhaust

With the intake manifold, carb, headers, and MSD ignition, etc, etc that  I have already installed, Comp estimates that my output will go up from the stock 225HP @ 4,000 rpm and 330 foot pounds @ 2400 rpm to

397 HP @ 4,500 rpm and 547 foot pounds @ 2800 rpm

Well, we will see...any improvement will be welcome, even if it is not as much as they claim.

I will take pics of the entire cam swap, start to finish-in case anyone is interested.

I am interested.

I have a 26 foot with a 440 and am interested in how to get the radiator out !!!! LOL.

If you have not already, post your part numbers on the intake and distrib.

Mine has about 80K miles on the motor, and starts right up everytime. But if I run across a swap meet with some cheap 440 alumn. intake , HP parts, I would like to know the proper numbers.

Thanks
