Generator fuel consumption/use, what's normal?

I am trying to find out a ballpark figure for how much gas the 2cyl 4000watt onan generator uses in my 1973 D22? mostly just running roof air and a boom box.

A good "ballpark" or "rule of thumb" figure for a 4kw genset is 1/2 gallon per hour; my 4kw Kohler uses .47 gph.  Your mileage may vary.
