Has anyone added power seats to their Winnie? I am contemplating buying a pair and am wondering how I should supply power to them. The ones I am interested in are also heated. This means they would probably draw a pretty good amp load. Any suggestions?

Anyone ever adapted a set of seats from a late model vehicle to their RV? I figure if I can't get them to bolt up, then I will resell them.

Hi;

If the seats were just power seats then I would say that you just need to run wire from the battery to the seat with the proper size fuse in it. However if the seats are heated I think that you would want to hook the power seats into a circuit that only has power when the key is on. You wouldn't want to leave the heated seat on and kill your battery. This would require a relay that can handle the load for the seat.
