Trying to get up to speed on how these systems work(ed).  On my '72 Brave there isn't (as original I understand it) a gray water tank.  Just a black water tank. Toilet dumps to a black water tank, there's a valve at it's exit.  Then a fitting or two, all the gray water drain lines come together and join it, then a valve to let it all out.  So under normal operation you'd open the black water valve so gray water and black can mix in the tank (keep the final release/discharge valve shut) then dump it all later, yes?  If you have a gray water dump at your camp site you could hook it up, keep the black water valve closed and open the discharge valve and let the grey water just drain, or drain into a portable water tank you can cart away?  Save the black water for dumping later at the dump station?

Above method is what we've been doing, works fine though not as nice as full hook up I guess.  Scheduled for a week with full hook up in October so we'll see how that goes.
