My 84 Chieftain has a solid roof except for the all seams. I am dealing with several small leaks. My plan is to take the seams only down to metal and re-seal. What would be the best tape for this or is a mesh and roof sealant a better approach ?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts !

Eternabond Tape..lots of people love this stuff and others saying they will never use it again!
As for me, I think it is a good product when used right..a very clean surface is a must to stick it down to.
The best mechanic is the one that can make it run with the least amount of parts!

I used Eternabond as well.  Worked great!  I used just the tape around roof fixtures but used the mesh combo on the roof panel seams.

Thanks, oz. I ordered Eterabond gray to match my roof.
