Hello all,

It's been a while but I am starting to warm back up to getting into my Indian again.

When I bought it, the brakes were extremely touchy. Symptoms were like brakes were on or off...almost impossible to feather. Besides normal brake maintenance like bleeding, what should I be looking at doing?

Not really great at "big rig" repair
so even getting this thing off the ground will be difficult not to mention wheels, etc off.

Being it's a 1973,you need to assume it probably needs everything.most people, when they do " brake jobs" , don't replace springs .You will need to pick up the whole motorhome, pull 4 wheels , remove drums and maybe find a friend who knows what to look for .
Geoff is the guy with lots of knowledge and parts.617 699 4939

What Ken said. If you recently got it, the only sure thing to do is go check the whole grade system for safety sake.
Not that everything will have to be replaced but, you need to know what does.
