Just installed a replacement heater core in my '78 itasca suncruiser - only to discover that the heater control cable (controlling coolant flow valve to the heater core) is seized and broken.  yay.

Short of just buying some bowden cable and fitting it myself,  is there a recommended replacement part that others may have used?
