Topic: Does coach battery need to be hooked up to run furnace?

Hi There! Just got a 75' Brave and have a couple of questions about the furnace. I know the propane needs to be on, but do the cabin batteries need to be hooked up (or shore power connected) in order to run the furnace? I see the button to prime it and the portal to light the pilot, I'm just unsure if cabin power needs to be connected. Also, is there a specific or preferred way/pattern to prime the furnace before lighting?

It needs power of some sort to function. It may have a converter or battery power switch to choose the power source.
If you're manually lighting it, just keep a flame on the pilot burner until it stays lit.

If you can see the furnace make and model number, look in the member area - manuals section.  Good chance we have the manual for it.
