Just bought a 1968 F-17

I just bought a 1968 F-17.  I have been wanting to get one for years.  I am frustrated though by the lack of information anywhere on these old Winnies.  It didn't come with any paperwork or manuals of any kind.  I have spent the last few days trying to find anything - and come up short in all accounts.

a) manuals/technical data/wiring diagrams/maintenance schedules
b) parts - where to find them or alternatives people have used

I sent out a couple of feelers on different forums (including this one) - and NADA/Nothing.  An example of a pre-purchase question I asked was - what kind of gas mileage can you expect from an F-17... and "crickets".  All of the posts are ancient and not updated.

I tried using the search facility on this website and I can't seem to get any meaningful results back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
