Hello,

Recently had a small engine fire that was directly under/at the top mounted diverter valve attached to the back of the AIR pump. Fire and damage caused the following repairs: new water pump, new thermostat, new fan clutch, rebuilt radiator, new radiator hoses, new vacuum lines. Removed top air pump, bracket, single belt that just went from ps to pump, removed both bad check valves, plugged manifold holes with bolts, left second air pump (lower) in the path of the belt.

Previously replaced/fixed parts last year are: new belts, new spark plugs & wires, rebuilt carburetor, two new fuel pumps, new fuel regulator, new brakes & tires.

Got everything put back together and it wont shift.... When the shifter moves it rotates down at transmission...... when I move it from park to reverse it sounds great like it has engaged but wont move, shifting into neutral or drive sounds worse but the same at idle/park, vehicle wont move at all.

Checked fluids: transmission, oil, coolant, ps..... all good.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks Christina

Is it making any noises?  Is the engine revving up but not moving?
