I have no 12 volt and I can't seem to find the battery disconnect or "salesman switch"! anybody got an idea? :(

Never heard of a vintage Winnebago with one of those switches, but they were located just inside the door on manufacturers who use them, like Monaco.

I just purchased a 1989 Winnebago Itasca It has a battery disconnect under the front hood just right of center.
