So I'm waiting for payday on the 3rd and I've decided to both move my fuel line over and add an electric pump near the tank.

I just recently baught a brand new quadrajet m4mc less than a month old.
I had once had an electric pump back there but it was in conjunction with the mechanical pump.  Now I'm wanting to run electric only. I didn't like the edelbrock plastic pump just never seemed reliable. I have another Delphi online pump I'm not real sure of it as well.

So my questions are
What is a good pump at the recommended psi?
What is the best psi for Rochester quadrajet carburetor m4mc?

Please include links if allowed and thank you in advance

Any comments on
Carter Universal Rotary Vane Electric Fuel Pumps P4594

Is this Carter any good?

Depending on the pump, you might want to install a pressure regulator before the carb.

Looks like 4-5 psi but that seems high, I thought they ran at 3.5 psi.

I have a Mr gasket regulator that's 1-5 psi in the past 4 worked OK untill the pump went dead.  So now I'm stuck finding a reliable pump and putting it near the tank

I just installed a larger gas tank and ALSO added a backup CARTER 4070 4psi to 9psi electric pump to augment the stock mechanical main fuel pump on my tool truck. I also elected to install the Summit  Racing part # sun890023 regulator and screwed into that regulator a mechanical 1-1/2 inch  gauge that was NOT oil filled(lots of reviews showed the oiled filled gauge was too sensitive to under hood engine heat to read accurately. I used the regulator so I could dial in the low end of 4 psi...BOTH the Carter pump and Summit Regulator are very nice quality...The guy who builds all the carburetors for the guys who race here in San Diego told me the Mr Gasket regulator is a cheap unit and wont regulate reliably...he said the Mr Gasket one was a very poor quality item. I am NOT sure what psi pressure a Quadra Jet requires but the Carter comes in another part number that goes up to 15psi so they make one for your quadrajet also...

The above mfg produces a good pump, many Onan enthusiasts use this mfg for their old onan generators and they are a picky bunch make no mistake.

The amazon pump would be fine.
