Hello everyone,

I did a search but I couldn't find a topic that talked about multiple brands of tires. I need to get 6 new radial tires for my 1972 Winnebago Brave D20 most likely in the size 235/85r16. What is your favorite tire to use on a class A RV? I am looking at 3 different ones right now, but I can't make up my mind. I want to get something that is comfortable and quiet, but I don't want to pay hundreds more only for a name brand. I have common sense about tires, and I have done so much researching and reading reviews of RV tires that I feel sick now haha. If anyone has any opinions on RV tire brands I would be glad to hear them. Thank you so much!

Lol! I'm a review reader too, on just about everything I buy.  It does make you dizzy.  I can't say I researched your size, but my personal preference has been Yokahma.  Very pleased with 17.5 I bought.
And for my cars as well.

Oz, which specific 17.5 Yokohama tires did you get?  I am just starting to shop around for new tires and I pretty much have the same rig as yours...mine is a 75 D21 Indian Dodge 440. Thanks for the help

I don't recall the part number.  Just that they were load range E.
I got them through a local, commercial truck tire service center who also installed them.

Thanks. I was mainly trying to determine the size conversion but I think I figured it out. The tires I have now are 8R 17.5 which appears to convert to 215 75R 17.5 size correct?  Is that the size of the Yokohama tires you have?
