Stuck overhead bunk

My overhead bunk is stuck closed, I don't want to damage the paper ceiling trying to pull it open. Anybody had this problem before a found a safe way to open it? Thanks

Spray the joints, if you can reach them with WD40 and check to see if there's maybe a latch or latches to undo.

The edge of the bed is stuck to the top of the ceiling.

Guess you have no choice but to run something along the edge and separate it. If it's stuck, it's stuck.
Sometimes you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet.

Got it , but have to but Humpty Dumpy back together again
