I know, right?  The changes to the site are coming along, but not without its glitches, of course.  Always a learning curve...

Just transitioned to the new portal system.  I have a lot to recreate yet, but it won't take long. How do you like the new chat room?

Stuck overhead bunk
« on: October 11, 2020, 09:12 AM »
My overhead bunk is stuck closed, I don't want to damage the paper ceiling trying to pull it open. Anybody had this problem before a found a safe way to open it? Thanks

Spray the joints, if you can reach them with WD40 and check to see if there's maybe a latch or latches to undo.

The edge of the bed is stuck to the top of the ceiling.

Guess you have no choice but to run something along the edge and separate it. If it's stuck, it's stuck.
Sometimes you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet.

Good analogy.  We all become masters at Humpty Dumty repair, sooner or later. Lol!
