I know, right?  The changes to the site are coming along, but not without its glitches, of course.  Always a learning curve...

Not as compact with the text, but maybe a bit more "fun" and "chatty"?

Just transitioned to the new portal system.  I have a lot to recreate yet, but it won't take long. How do you like the new chat room?

Put a piece of black tape over it.  ???

What does the "N" code mean?
What model do you have?
(They make quite a few and they're not all the same.)

Did you see if we have the manual for it?

Hello OZ, if you remember I pulled it out and burped it and it ran cold for 24 hours. The N code means its not getting cold. Reinstalled it back in the cabinet, then it it ran cold for 12 hours, than the n code reared its ugly face. It is model number N821, serial number 855476GB
I've seen were they want me to pull the circuit board and try jumping and grounding a certain pin, but that's above my pay grade, hate too fry that board. Any help would be appreciated
Also, I paid for a lifetime membership thru PayPal, when can I expect to see it, so I can access these manuals?
Thanks again

As detailed in the upgrade, it's usually within 24 hours. As you can see, it was done a lot quicker than that. You also have a PM with the details.

Having the fridge run good for 12 hours and then just quit isn't something which would be caused by the actual function of system components.

The control board is the primary possible cause, that's why the troubleshooting tree says to test it first.
You really can't just skip it.  Well, you can, and go through all the rest of it, which may include other things which you wouldn't want to attempt either, which would most likely land you back at square one.  I get it, though, because I wouldn't do it myself because I'm brain dead when it comes to electrical things.

So, in lieu of testing, and given the control board is a known primary culprit, the only other option is to replace it. Which is what I would do, based on the experiences of other members.
