Onan 4K gas usage?

Hello all,


Have a Onan 4K gen on my 73' Indian...got it running again but while using a alt fuel source I noticed with no load it burns through fuel pretty fast.


Anyone have any information or experience with how much fuel these use so I can judge it's performance efficiency and make adjustments?

Roughly half gallon per hour.
