Title: Greetings from the Redneck and his old truck camper
Post by: RedneckExpress on August 16, 2011, 04:49 PM
Howdy everyone, like to take a moment to say hello to everyone here and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this forum :).

Unless I'm mistaken, I think I'm the first Truck Camper owner here, as there's no truck camper option in the RV selection drop down box :p.

So, here's some pictures of my nearly 40 year old camper from some of its journeys, and my truck, which is always a project :p.

The "Redneck Express" out traveling:

And welcome to you!  Truck camper?  thought about that, but She Who Must Be Obeyed came up with a trailer before I'd thunk too much.

You're more than welcome here.  Heck!  They even let ME participate!

Welcome to this neck of the woods Redneck.  BTW, I forgot to tell you your new fenders came out looking great.

Thanks all for making me feel welcome, and there are some days where I really wish the old fruit juice barrel on the front of the truck was a still ;).

On the subject of the fenders and what not, I still haven't had a chance to take her out with any kind of load in the bed.  The closest I'll be is when I tow my neighbor's old Komfort 25 from the park over to the storage yard.

I have also found one slight downside to those hips, any spray from the front tires, even with their mud flaps still manages to catch the front of those fenders :p.

I have quite a library of pictures over on my blog :).   I haven't really got much in the way of new pictures, other than of the truck from the conversion process.
