Never grilled one but did one on the smoker... nice.

My turkey recipe for oven:

Clean/rinse turkey - remove the "parts" etc tucked into various points

In food processor (or just chopped up really finely and mixed)
1 medium sweet onion  (peeled etc)
1 apple (peeled cored)
Fresh herbs:  10 sage leaves, handfull organo, handfull thyme
or
Dried herbs: 2tsp dried sage, organo thyme
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 cup white wine
1tsp fresh ground pepper
2-10 cloves garlic (peeled)

Grind this all up to a mush in food processor

Put turkey in sink or pan
Work your fingers under skin all over bird
pack the ground up mush under the skin all over bird

Put turkey in an "Oven bag" (prepped by shaking 2 TBS flour in it)

Slather any remaining ground mush all over outter skin and into cavity Can also add a cut up onion and some cloves of garlic to cavity.

Do not stuff bird with stuffing.

Bake to done with meat thermometer stuck into thigh. Based on baking per pound from Oven bag box. Don't rely on those pop up things....

This is yummo!
