ok you can do this with good ole' hamburger too....
1 lb ground meat (your choice we use ground turkey)
1 med onion minced
1-2 oz raw bacon minced (turkey bacon works too of course)
2-5 cloves of garlic minced
1 egg
2TBs Worcestershire sauce
2 TB soy sauce
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 cup raw oatmeal or bread crumbs
for topping
1/2 can Don Pepino pizza sauce
1/2 lb fresh motzerella
pan saute in olive oil the bacon, onions, and garlic until browned. Mix together all ingredients may need to add more oatmeal or breadcrumbs if too mushy.
Makes 6-8 patties
drizzle with patties with olive oil before grilling.
Grill - when nice and brown both sides, top with 2-3 tsp of the pizza sauce and top with a fresh slice of motzerella. Turn off grill, close cover and allow cheese to melt.
