My old diaphragm air pump takes far TOO long, so I bought a VIAIR 450C. It is rated at 100PSI x 1.66CFM and 100% duty cycle / 20 amps max.- far more than I need for water pressure. However, I am also adding a 2 gal air tank for tires and my race car.
I will have two valves and two pressure regulating switches. one position is 20-40 psi for the water. The other is 90-110 psi for a HP air supply - and it all fits in the trunk!
I'll take pics when it is done.

sounds Cool......but be careful you don't get that 100psi side accidentally hooked to the water lines.... you'll have a mess....can't wait to see the pic's when it's done...

This is the kind of thing that is really cool about owning old RVs. You get these great ideas for up-grades that go beyond just replacing the original function... you can really get creative. The only limit is your imagination and your pocketbook!

Normally it keeps the water pressure at 20-40 psi. However by closing one valve and opening another + switching pressure cutoff switches, I can route 100 psi air into a 2 gal air tank for tires and to support my vintage sports car. The pump is rated at 100 psi x 100% duty cycle and 20 amps (12VDC).
I got most everything on Ebay: [pump $189; tank w/gauges $24, and the 20-40 psi (grey) switch about $12). Then another $50 for valves tubing and fittings.
Note: the 20 amp, 3-way switch is yet to arrive ($15).
