Ok, guys, we're the heck is the dipstick on my 1972 Indian with a dodge 413?

Open the center part of your grill.  Right side.

Found it, but it's black, on a black back ground, under the windshield washer reservoir

Yep, so obvious, it's so easy to not see until someone tells you where it is!
