Title: Where to get an awning?
Post by: penskepartyof4 on August 03, 2020, 09:45 AM
Where do I find a durable awning? Should I hit up bone yards?

Assuming you're talking about used, yes, RV salvage yards are the place to start, and used RV parts stores.  They are usually sold by condition and by the foot length.

Here's a nifty link, RV Salvage yard listing by State:

Thanks for that info! I knew of one in northern wisconsin but i think they closed for now. I get lost in the auto yards. My wife would leave me when I dont leave the RV yards! lol

I need time to work on a gen set for a guy. He said I can have everything in the RV that I want if it runs or not. Just need time before they get rid of it. Free awning, stove with oven, fridge, service, fuses, and whatever but the engine and trans.
