Title: Need M400 Cruise Control Diaphragm
Post by: lip on June 29, 2020, 06:40 AM
Hi Guys,
I hope you are all well!
As my cruise control didnt work on my last trip- i found out that the diaphragm has a whole in the rubber and vacuum can't be hold anymore.
Can anybody give me a hint where I can get a new one? If yes, maybe a part number?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards from Germany,
Lloyd

I replaced mine with one for a Land Rover I believe. After looking through the pictures of the ones available, I picked one that looked as if it would mount to the original bracket with a similar arm. In my case, I had to bend the end of the arm 90Ã,°. After installing it and adjusting the linkage, the cruise control works like new. This is the one I used.

Hi Guys,

I bought this vacuum diaphragm from a Volvo car - which was cheaper and easier to get here in Germany:

I will have to change the rod in the front but I think it should work.

Best,
