Looking for some recommendations on shocks for our 1972 Winnebago.
Bilstein Shocks. That's what we put on ours and made for a sweet ride. Got them off E-bay.

Thank you so much for the information. This will help us. We are first time RV owners. We just love our Vintage Winnebago.
Bilstiens are probably the most expensive of the brands you can get but they are worth every penny when it comes to controlling the roll and sway of these tuna boats. When you get the shocks also look at the condition of the sway bar bushings and replace them if they are bad.
I put Bilstiens on mine.
Excellent! Expensive!
Likely would have noticed no difference if I'd have bought Monroe.
Rick is right check the sway bar bushings, if they are rubber replace them with polyurethane bushings. I did that on my '76 C22 and it made a big improvement driving down the road.
PO had replaced mine with one size too large. Replaced with the correct sway bar bushings, Huge difference. Quieter too.
First thanks to everyone for the information. As you can see I am new at this and once my question was moved to the right location, you all were able to give me good advice. We will continue this journey with our Winnebago Miss Adventure.
