I have a 1980 Itasca motorhome, a neighbor gave it to me free because he blew 2 motors in it so he decided he had enough. I obtained a running motor from my father in law that came from the same brand motorhome, not sure the year, but very close to 1980. I have the motor inside now and trying to start it. I just want to know if it will start, but i dont know what goes where. Anyone have a diagram of the battery box? And if not, maybe just how to wire it just for a test start? Thank you very much....
I had a 77 Itasca Suncruiser...so I might be able to help if you post a few pictures of your battery box setup. Get good pictures of the wires and the whole layout for me to refresh my memory. It has been several years since we owned that one, which we named Excalibur.
