Title: 1987 Chieftain buttons on stove hood..
Post by: Jimhartman on January 25, 2019, 03:48 PM
Bought a 1987 Chieftain.  The controls over the stove have a number of buttons and some sort of digital readout.  The labels are all gone.  Someone has crudely labeled a couple but I need to know what does what so I can test systems.

Can anyone help?  Tried to attach a pic but it was too large.

Photo would definitely help. Check 'Forum Rules' for some info on attachments.
If you are describing a panel on the wall it MAY be a level indicator for fresh/waste water tanks, propane and batteries, with switches for the levels, water heater and onboard water pump.

I will see if I have any pics of my 89 which should be the same layout.

Here you go Jim, hope this is the same setup. The left button on the right side turns on the display which is the clock. I leave it off for the winter.
