Classic Winnebagos & Vintage RVs

I've got a broken turn signal switch, at the exhaust shop, the mechanic jumped into the seat and his knee bashed the turn signal stalk and snapped it, now it just hangs there. 


Curious if anyone on the forum has converted to a semi truck turn signal assy, typically made by Grote or other brands.


Thoughts?

That should be a standard Dodge truck switch. It's a truck column. I did a quick google search and found them for 20-30$.  Maybe I'm wrong (been there before), but I don't think that would be a hard repair.
