Title: Exterior Paint
Post by: Losgunna86 on April 27, 2018, 05:22 PM
Anyone have a favorite type of exterior paint to be used on a TT? I'm assuming some kind of automotive paint is best? Also, I'll take any tips, tricks, and links for HOW TO paint it hahaha We plan to keep it white, but change the logo to a deep blue or teal. Do you think it's blasphemy to ditch the classic Winnie yellow logo? LOL

Would plati-dip be an acceptable paint to use on the step, bumpers, and hitch?

Thanks for ANY and ALL advice guys!! It's FINALLY nice enough here in Indiana to get moving on our reno!!!!

Look in the projects section, There are a lot of repainting projects, Incl my 1977 Mini I used rattle cans . But rollers and other methods are there, I see nothing wrong with removeing the ugly W Nor the 1960,s colors !Frank !

Marine paint is a good choice although it can be a bit expensive. Look for Awlgrip.
