I need to get my RV up and off the ground for an extended period so I can service the brake system and drop the fuel tank(unrelated project).
I don't trust metal Jack stands so I'm curious what you guys have built.

Steel stands, wooden "cribs" or other support and structures doesn't matter much,... what matters most is your life!!! And it will certainly depend on your best choice and manner of support.

Losing weight - yours, not the RV - by inadequate vehicle support is NOT something we wish to read about.
Wood cribbing is by far the safest...when done correctly
