Title: M.S.D. Ignition System 440-3 Dodge
Post by: LJ-TJ on November 19, 2016, 10:00 AM
I've been thinking of replacing my original Dodge electronic ignition system with an M.S.D. system. I'm curious what some of you Lad's or Lass's might think. It sticks in my mind that Mark had replaced his with a M.S.D. system but I could seem to find any comments he may have made on the sit. Appreciate your thoughts. Hm?

I have an MSD 6AL in My Jeep CJ with the big block in it and it works quite well but keep in mind that you still need to keep the original distributor and pickup as the trigger for the ignition box. unless that is you are buying the entire MSD setup. I think for a motor home the HEI distributor is a also a viable option. Everything is in one unit and all the parts are readily available at any parts store.
