Title: Coach battery replacement????
Post by: Rollingmenace on May 24, 2016, 01:23 AM
Ok it's getting to be camping season here..  But it seems it's time to replace the coach battery it only holds at about 11v and doesn't seem to have enough power to crank the generator on occasion..
Right now it's just a marine deep cycle that's about 4 years old..

NOW here's where you all come in .. I'm looking for opinions or options
#1 should I just replace with another deep cycle marine battery
#2 I've heard there is options of using two 6v golf cart battery's

Does anyone have opinions or info. I'm looking at pros and cons , cost comparison ect.. I can't seem to find any of the old threads pertaining to this...

We just went to two 6 volt Trojan batteries and WILL buy a new set when the time comes. They cost about the same as a good Marine battery but are way Superior. Well worth the investment. We Boon Docked for a hole week with no problems at all.
