Classic Winnebagos & Vintage RVs

I have been looking on the engine and dont see a plug or sensor location big enough to put the temp sensor in...where have you guys put them?
Also where can i find a replacement dip stick tube?

I have lower dip stick tubes.

Here's another look. It's on the very front of the engine on the passanger's side.

I saw the small sensor for the factory guage but my aftermarket guage is a lot bigger than that.  I will look closer at that other spot. Is there a plug there?

Then you may have to see what other senders the gauge mfg has or see if the stock one will work with the aftermarket gauge
