I have been given a class "C" with this vin# F44CD7V008288 Trying to get info on what I have. Engine/tranny etc. Thank you

Looks like a 1977 with a 14,000 gross weight plus and a 440.

paper work says it is a m400 225 seems like a 6banger. Is a V8

I edited my post after looking a little further. It looks like a 77 with a 440.

Yes that was what I was hoping for! I have an Elandan2 . The one I got given to me only has 60,000 miles on it! Hoping to us the motor/tranny in my Elandan!

The Class C VIN is a MB400 with a 440-1.  There are some parts that are different but the van engine and tranny should work without any problems.
