Post by: brians1969 on August 14, 2014, 09:19 AM
So I have started to rebuild my roof.

Did I mention I am living in it while I do the rebuild? lol

Here is a thread which is a great help:

Excellent job!   :)   :)ThmbUp

I See there's a lot more than just a roof job.  The whole back end?  What about the raised forward portion?  Did you just do away with it?

The back end was like that. I don't know what a po was trying to accomplish there. In fact, next spring I need to redo the back wall as it is in poor shape.

The hump has been removed. Whoever added it didn't do a great job with it and that roof was sagging too. I'll miss the extra space but I think it looks much better and cleaner now.

Approx. $1900 in materials.  7 weeks @ a couple hours a day. I'm sore everywhere!
