Hi Ralis here again. I posted earlier about the wife and I thinking about getting a 1975 or earlier (She likes the '73) Winnebago Brave or Indian for our Honeymoon and do some part time living in LA.
She is apprehensive about the Combo Toilet/Shower and mentioned wouldn't it be nice to see one in person? Not just someone trying to sell one and not just pics but talk to someone that owns one and see it in person. I agreed and said I would ask here!
We are in SoCal, our house is in Yucca Valley out by Palm Springs and the Morongo Casino then we Air B&B in North Hollywood when working in town. If anyone in the area has a classic Brave or Indian and wouldn't mind a show and tell we will buy you coffee!
Let us know and i am leaving for China around the 20th of November for a bit.
Thanks again, Ralis
Not much to see. Its a toilet, on a fiberglass shower floor, with formica like walls to resist water, with hot/cold water nobs, with a hose and a hand wand.
We have NEVER used ours to shower.
First off, its only about 3 feet square, with a toilet right in the middle. Not much room.
Second the fiberglass floor was cracked in ours, so I cut a piece of carpet to fit.
Your welcome to come look, bring a coat, it snowed yesterday :)rotflmao
Good Luck

You want a 1974 D 29 Chieftain Custom. It's on page 7 at the bottom of the page of the 1974 Chieftain brochure. It has the big bedroom at the rear of the motor home which can be closed off by a door on the bathroom to separate the two. On the one side of the bathroom is the sink and toilet and on the other side is the shower (happy wife) with a door that close's off the bathroom from kitchen. You then have an open concept kitchen that opens out to a living room and onto the cockpit area. There out there and it's a hunt but I think it would cover all the Miss's requirements.

Hm?
A built in vacuum system back then? They did try to innovate.
Gotta love all the retro clothes and hair styles :)clap
