Description: 'Clark' made it to the campground at over 8000 ft...! It was about 107 degrees when I started the trip in town (Las Vegas) and at 6000 ft it was still in the 90's. Clark's motor got pretty hot but before he overheated, I found a place to pull over and let him cool off. The tranny temp got pretty warm too. Both gauges were near their max. Oh, and the wind was blowing at a steady 40 mph with gusts, according to friends that work at nearby Creech Air Force Base, that were at 70 mph...! It was quite the ride and I am proud to say: 'Clark' held his lane! 'Clark' is seen here with his buddy 'Heavy Chevy'.
