Title: 1973 Winnebago Brave 318 throttle cable attachment
Post by: Shaneyk88 on June 26, 2019, 03:11 PM
Hello. My throttle cable snapped at the carb and I can figure out how it was attached. Any help would be great!

If I recall correctly the end of the cable would have had a metal ball or disk  or barrel shaped thingy on the end, and it goes into a hole/groove on the throttle linkage on the carburetor.

side note to TJ, Try to route your coil wire above those two plug wires, that is just asking for induction crossfire there. By the way, Picture came out great.

The original posters linkage looks hacked where the shift linkage is. TJ's picture is correct. The OP might have a 2 barrel carb? or something. It's hard to say what kind of hardware attached the throttle cable.
