Title: 413 Brave Radiator Replacement?
Post by: avid on March 02, 2009, 02:00 PM
Hi all,

Looking at a '71 Winnebago, Seller says that the radiator has a leak.  How difficult is it to Jerk that thing out of there?

Thanks

We'll need to know what model in order to answer about the radiator.

The Model is a Brave & it is a 22/footer. Sorry for the omission.

Thanks,

Taking out the radiator isn't too bad, but unless it can be fixed cheaply or you can find a replacement that is inexpensive, you can expect to pay out the ying-yang for a recore.

Not a problem, my Class C had a leak and couldn't be repaired.  Local shops wanted $400 for a new one, but I found one for less than $200 online, and it was a much better quality aluminum radiator!  Let me know if you wind up having to replace instead of repair.
