Title: NEW to me '67 Dodge Venture Class A
Post by: AdVenture-us on June 14, 2022, 01:47 PM
NewB here(but not my first RV) Just bought this(dont tell my wife-I'm not showing it until it's cleaned up) ;)
Research shows Venture was made only a few years before being bought by Starcraft. Starcraft continued with a slightly modified body mold (Starcruiser)for a few more years, then went with their 'unique' body. It's all fiberglass(One piece as far as I can tell) on an M-300 chassis with power drum brakes all around and power steering. This has the 'Poly' 318 engine/727 auto trans.
I may have some of this info wrong, so feel free to chime in. It needs brake attention after being parked for 10+ years. The engine turns by hand. The interior is all there, but has some water damage from an open roof vent. Great project to keep me busy in my retirement. Hope to have it running/driving soon.
