Title: Rubber shroud for gear shift lever? 1988 HR Imperial 35
Post by: tarifachris on October 28, 2017, 10:39 PM
When I worked on the parking brake cable, I had my nose directly in front of this part and I am wondering if there
is normally a rubber inside? Makes no sense that the gear lever rod flops loosely inside this bracket...

Has someone a name or order number for the rubber?

I put a 3/8 nylon spacer inside... shaved a 45 degree angel on one side. Makes more sense then rubber, since it
is close to the exhaust. Looks like it was original like this.
